The Goddess Iris: A Divine Messenger

An Intermediary Between The Spirit Realm And Human Beings

The Radiant Goddess Iris: A Symbol of Hope and Inspiration

In the pantheon of Greek mythology, the Goddess Iris holds a unique and inspiring role. Known as the personification of the rainbow and a messenger of the gods, Iris is a figure of connection, communication, and radiant beauty. Her story and attributes serve as a source of inspiration for many, offering lessons in courage, hope, and the power of unity.

Iris, in her role as a divine messenger, serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of communication and understanding. She moves freely between the realms of the gods and mortals, a symbol of the bridges we all must build to foster understanding and empathy. Her actions inspire us to be better listeners, to seek to understand others, and to express our own thoughts and emotions with clarity and kindness.

The rainbow, Iris's identifying symbol, is a beacon of hope and beauty. It appears after a storm, a sign of better times ahead. This is a potent reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the promise of new beginnings. Just as a rainbow follows a storm, so too does hope follow adversity. In the face of challenges, we can look to Iris and find inspiration to persevere, trusting that better days lie ahead.

Iris is also celebrated for her radiant beauty and her vibrant, colourful robes. This symbolises the beauty that can be found in diversity and unity. Each colour of the rainbow is distinct and unique, yet together, they form a beautiful whole. This is a powerful metaphor for our world, where each individual's unique strengths and qualities contribute to the beauty of the collective.

As a spirit guide, Iris can offer a wealth of knowledge and support to those who seek her out. She is a powerful ally for those who are looking to connect with the divine, and is often called upon for her ability to bridge the gap between the physical and spiritual realms. If you are feeling disconnected from your higher self or the divine, calling upon Iris as a spirit guide can help you to re-establish that connection and find your way back to your true path.

Iris is also known for her ability to bring messages from the gods to humanity. If you are seeking guidance or clarity on a particular issue, calling upon Iris as a spirit guide can help you to receive the messages and insights that you need. She is a powerful communicator, and can help you to understand the messages that the gods are trying to send you.

Furthermore, Iris is a goddess of the sea and sky, and as such, she is often associated with freedom, liberation, and transformation. If you are feeling stuck or stagnant in your life, calling upon Iris as a spirit guide can help you to break free from those limitations and embrace the change that is needed for growth and expansion. She can help you to see the bigger picture and understand how the challenges and obstacles in your life are ultimately leading you towards your highest good.

One of the most beautiful and powerful aspects of Iris as a spirit guide is her association with the rainbow. In many cultures, the rainbow is seen as a symbol of hope, promise, and connection. When you call upon Iris as a spirit guide, you are invoking the power of the rainbow, and the connections that it represents. You are opening yourself up to the possibility of new perspectives, new insights, and new connections with the divine.

In addition, Iris is known for her compassion and her ability to heal. If you are seeking healing, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, calling upon Iris as a spirit guide can help to facilitate that healing. She can help you to release any negative energy or emotions that may be blocking your healing process, and can provide you with the support and guidance that you need to move forward on your healing journey.

Iris is a powerful and compassionate spirit guide who can offer a wealth of knowledge and support to those who seek her out. With her diverse associations and her ability to bridge the gap between the physical and spiritual realms, she is an invaluable ally for anyone who is looking to connect with the divine and find their way back to their true path. Whether you are seeking guidance, healing, or transformation, calling upon Iris as a spirit guide can help you to tap into the power of the rainbow and the connections that it represents, and to find the hope, promise, and liberation that you need to move forward on your journey.

The Goddess Iris

How The Goddess Iris Appeared To Me

An amazing synchronicity

One day I had a vision of the Goddess Iris, appearing to me. As I communicated with her, I asked her to validate the authenticity of the meeting with a sign, in the physical world. The next day, whilst thinking about the previous day's encounter I decided to research the Goddess Iris, to learn more. Normally I'd use the internet, or delve into my collection of books, but for some reason, on this particular day I was minded to use my Kindle, to search for books about the Goddess Iris. A few titles were displayed, one of which was a book about the Divine Feminine, so I downloaded a sample. At this point, I should remind you that my first name is Kerin... and the first qualification I earned in hypnotherapy, in the late 1990s awarded me the letters 'DHP' (diploma in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy). Anyway, as I read through to the end of the foreword I was stunned, when having asked for a sign that my encounter was real, I was presented with the words:: Patricia Iris Kerins DHP. What an amazing synchronicity, in a book about the Divine Feminine, given to me in such a personal way, less than 24 hours after my amazing visionary encounter and my request of the Goddess Iris to give me (Kerin) a sign that our meeting was real.
