Ever since he was a child Kerin has sensed the presence of the Spirit World around him. As far back as 1975 his English teacher, Stanley Payne, at Montgomery of Alamein School, in Winchester, England, recognised Kerin’s pronounced psychic abilities. Guided from a young age to immerse himself in the study of esoteric and religious subjects, one day, when leaving an English lesson, Mr Payne noticed that Kerin had a bundle of books under one arm (borrowed from Winchester Library). His curiosity piqued he asked: “Kerin, what are those books?”. Wondering what his teacher would make of the books on paranormal phenomena Kerin showed his teacher. Astounded by what he saw, Mr Payne remarked “I didn’t know you were interested in this!”. A conversation then followed and Mr Payne revealed to Kerin that he too was an avid student of esoteric subjects and as a result he invited Kerin to attend a Zener card test with him. Kerin accepted the invitation and soon afterwards Mr Payne conducted the test, in the English classroom. Essentially the test involved Mr Payne looking at a set of 25 shuffled cards, consisting of 5 designs: a circle, a square, a five pointed star, a plus sign and three wavy lines, with the backs of the cards facing Kerin and it was Kerin’s job to psychically discover which symbol Mr Payne viewed, each time. Enthusiastically, at the end of the tests, Mr Payne revealed that Kerin had consistently scored far higher than chance alone would predict.
The Spirit World began to intervene in Kerin’s life more directly as time passed. Kerin was knocked over by a truck, whilst cycling to work one day, only to stand up, unscathed. On another occasion a hurricane lifted a mobile home he was renting high into the air, with Kerin inside, before blasting it to bits, from which incident, once again, Kerin walked away safely, whilst the car he’d parked next to the mobile home had been crushed when the hurricane dropped what remained of it back to earth, upon the car.
Finally, one day, Kerin sensed a spirit voice talking to him in his mind. In order to test his own sanity he asked the spirit being for its name, to which it clearly replied ‘Aurora'. Having learned from reading a book by author Colin Wilson of the ‘Library Angel’ phenomenon (which sometimes occurs when selecting a random book and then opening it, equally randomly, to see what, if any, meaningful text is printed on the pages) Kerin pointed to a nearby pile of stacked books, which amounted to about 400 books that he had in the corner of his bedroom, whilst saying in response something along the lines of: “Thank you for giving me your name. I just need some extra proof that I’m not imagining all of this. There are about 400 books over there and I’m going to select one at random and then I'll open it… and if this is true please guide me to open it at a page with the name Aurora printed on it”. Then looking towards the books Kerin briefly mused over which book to choose, selecting a book that had just arrived in the post on Gypsy Magick, which he'd not yet read. Picking the book up, filled with trepidation, he randomly opened the pages and looked for what he might see. Lo and behold… the name Aurora was printed on one of the two pages that had been randomly opened in front of him, referencing both her Greek name (Eos) and her Roman name (Aurora). Kerin later learned that Aurora is the goddess of the dawn. It was the only page in the book that mentioned her name.
Guided by Aurora, Kerin subsequently learned to work with her and with the Spirit World as a prophet, to provide psychic readings, whilst helping others to learn more about their ultimate eternal destiny, as divine spiritual beings.
