We invite you to explore the marvels of ancient wisdom, spirituality and wellbeing, alongside modern psychotherapy principles, here at the Temple of Aurora
The Temple of Aurora exists to share evidence of the Divine Feminine, as worshipped throughout history, alongside evidence of how She has manifested to people across the ages, including in modern times. For example, you can read about the young boy in Sicily who was saved from death by a woman wearing glowing white garments. Read too about the scientist in India who encountered the Divine Feminine in the form of the goddess Kamakhya and the academic who encountered the divine Kwan Yin. You can also discover how the Divine Feminine, in the form of the goddess Aurora, has revealed herself to psychic/medium Kerin Webb too.
At the heart of the Temple of Aurora lies a vast library of resources, carefully curated to provide you with a wealth of knowledge on various subjects, ranging from ancient philosophies and mythologies to contemporary spiritual practices.
The website is divided into several sections, each dedicated to a specific theme, ensuring that you can easily find the information you seek and delve deeper into your area of interest. At the top of each page there exists a menu for general site navigation, highlighting our primary message, whilst towards the foot of the Homepage you will gain access to a wide range of additional articles on spirituality, wellbeing and science. For example, you can learn about the principle of progressive revelation, or delve into the concept of multidimensional souls, whilst simultaneously enhancing your own connection with Spirit. (And if you want to jump to our international website, you can also explore our developing HypGnosis section too.)
The Temple of Aurora also offers a variety of tools and resources designed to help you cultivate your spiritual practices and deepen your connection with your inner self. Of particular importance is the evidence we share of the prophecies from 2008/2009 regarding a time of world trouble that is even now unfolding, as predicted to Kerin by the Spirit World all those years ago. In response to these trials all spiritually-minded people are encouraged to unite, to promote peace. The Temple of Aurora exists to help make this possible.

Aurora - Goddess of the Dawn
'Hi Kerin, I was not disappointed in the reading and messages from spirit. You were on the ball with so much and I didn't give you any info. I can't wait to see what happens in the next few weeks. You are def worth the call! Thank you. Mary'
Artistic creations are often the result of inspiration, but sometimes, they can be guided by something more extraordinary. The image of Aurora on this page has a fascinating story behind its design, one that involves psychic impressions, synchronicity, and a dash of serendipity.
The process of selecting an image for Aurora began with a clear vision: roses in her hair, set against a nighttime scene, just as the first rays of dawn began to appear. It was a poignant and evocative concept, one that captured the essence of the goddess Aurora. But little did we know, our creative process was about to take an unexpected turn.
As we worked on the image, a BBC radio show, "Night Tracks," played in the background on BBC Sounds (first broadcast April 4th 2024). The presenter, Sara Mohr-Pietsch, was discussing a particular tune when she uttered a phrase at the exact moment this image was created, that stunned us, in the nicest possible way: "Blooming roses, prayers at dawn." The coincidence was uncanny, considering the exact specifications of the image we were creating at that very moment.
This remarkable synchronicity was seen as a sign, a nod of approval from Aurora that we were on the right path. In honour of this unexpected convergence, the image was chosen, and Aurora was brought to life.
The power of synchronicity should not be underestimated. It's a phenomenon that has been observed and experienced by people from all walks of life, a seemingly random event that holds deep meaning and significance. In this case, it was as if the Goddess of the Dawn, Aurora, was acknowledging our creative vision, affirming that we were tapping into something greater than ourselves.
The image of Aurora, with her roses and dawn-lit backdrop, now takes on a deeper significance. It is a testament to the magic that can occur when art, intuition, and synchronicity come together. Our initial vision was elevated by the unexpected turn of events, resulting in an image that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also imbued with a sense of wonder and serendipity.
As we gaze upon Aurora's enchanting image, we are reminded that creativity is not solely a product of human endeavour. Sometimes, the universe lends a helping hand, guiding us towards something more extraordinary, something that transcends the boundaries of art and design. The story behind Aurora's image is a powerful reminder of the magic that lies just beyond the edge of our everyday reality, waiting to be tapped into and brought to life.

This inspirational song paints a vivid picture of a journey from the depths of despair to the radiant hope of newfound enlightenment. This transformation isn't achieved alone; the divine intervention of angels plays a crucial role. The song explores how their presence and influence helps us to overcome the challenges and embrace a brighter future
Lyrics by Asha Rogers Webb.
Throughout ancient history, women have often occupied unique and powerful roles within spiritual and religious contexts. One of the most fascinating embodiments of female religious authority can be found in the Qadishtu of ancient Mesopotamia. The term "Qadishtu" translates to "holy woman" or "sacred woman," and these priestesses were integral to the religious life and societal structures of the civilisations that thrived in this region, particularly in the cities of Sumer, Akkad, Babylonia, and Assyria.
Historical Context
The Qadishtu existed predominantly between the third millennium BCE and the early first millennium BCE, a time when city-states flourished and religion played a central role in daily life. Mesopotamian society was complex and stratified, with a deep-seated belief in the pantheon of deities, each governing various aspects of life and nature. The Qadishtu served crucial functions in this interconnected web of spirituality and community.
Roles and Responsibilities
The primary duty of the Qadishtu was to serve the deity of their temple, often representing goddesses such as Inanna (Ishtar) or other major female deities. These priestesses were involved in a range of activities, from conducting rituals and engaging in sacred sexual practices often associated with the worship of fertility deities.
While the concept of "sacred prostitution" has been debated among scholars, it is clear that the Qadishtu held a unique position that transcended conventional roles of women in ancient Mesopotamian society. They enjoyed certain privileges, including economic independence, political influence, and societal respect. Many Qadishtu were landowners, inheriting wealth and properties, which enabled a degree of agency rare for women in the ancient world.
The Sacred Union
One of the most intriguing aspects of the Qadishtu's role involved the sacred marriage rite, a symbolic and literal union between the priestess and the god she served. This annual ritual sought to ensure fertility and prosperity for the city-state, embodying the belief that the goddess would bestow her blessings on the land through the priestess. This potent act highlighted the vital role that women played in ensuring the community's wellbeing.
Moreover, the Qadishtu acted as intermediaries between the divine and the mortal realms. They participated in festivals and public rituals, calling upon the gods for blessings, protection, and prosperity, which solidified their status as essential figures within their communities.
Cultural Legacy
The legacy of the Qadishtu extends beyond their historical presence in Mesopotamian society; they also have influenced the cultural imaginations of subsequent civilisations. The ideals and attributes associated with Qadishtu have permeated various forms of literature, art, and mythology throughout the ages, inspiring portrayals of feminine divinity and sacred feminine power.
In contemporary discussions about gender, spirituality, and empowerment, the role of the Qadishtu serves as a conduit through which modern women can explore and reclaim the sacred. Their existence invites us to understand how ancient practices can resonate with modern spiritual movements that seek to honour the divine feminine.
The Qadishtu of ancient Mesopotamia embody a fascinating chapter in the story of women's religious leadership. They offer insight into a world where women wielded significant spiritual power, challenging contemporary perceptions of gender roles in ancient societies. As we continue to uncover the complexities of ancient religions and cultures, the contributions and legacies of sacred women like the Qadishtu deserve recognition and celebration, reminding us of the enduring power of feminine spiritual authority throughout history.
